Who are we ?
Star Mobil Services is a French company created in 2003 by Benoît Sassier, motorhome driver at heart, who spent 27 years at Europ assistance, and by Nicolas Clasadonte, CEO of the CLC Loisirs group, the French leader in the sale of recreative vehicles with 18 establishments.
This partnership between an assistance specialist and the leader in the sale of recreative vehicles in France is very quickly successful with individuals and professionals because it brings together an offer and a guarantee from 2 different but very complementary professions and experiences. : Assistance + After-Sales Service and Advice.
Why this service?
The motorhome is a house on 4 wheels, equipped with specific equipment (refrigerator, heating/water heater, skylights, electricity and electronics, water pump, television, multimedia, etc.) which most often require repairs , technical knowledge and the intervention of specialists. Unfortunately, there are only assistance services for automobiles.
We forgot the motorhome is not a car. Recreational vehicles must therefore have assistance that is able to repair them despite their particularities.
Imagine yourself in the middle of winter with your family and your boiler in the harbor without assistance other than the mechanical assistance of your insurance contract which answers you "I can't do anything for you because this breakdown is not covered by the contract" . Great moment of confusion and loneliness by minus 12 degrees! Nothing happens and for 2 months, I resolve to use the hotplates to warm myself up.
I use these 2 months to imagine a service that would consist of meeting the specific needs of motorhome owners, helping all users of vehicles and whatever the problem encountered (mechanics and people).

Our team of technicians trained in the assistance and specific problems of motorhomes answer you 24/24. They work with you to diagnose the breakdown by telephone.
90% of breakdowns on a motorhome concern the passenger compartment (furniture, water leaks, windows, skylights, electrical breakdowns, etc.) and its equipment (boiler, fridge, water pump, multimedia, etc.).
And among the 10% of breakdowns classified as "mechanical", 70% are minor and can be repaired remotely by a technician or on site by sending a repairman (empty engine battery, dislocated hose, fuse out of order, …).
Our specialized technicians regularly attend training courses. They listen to you, reassure you, answer your questions, help you out by phone or redirect you if necessary to the nearest certified professional.
